The Ark Episode 6: One Step Forward, Two Steps Back Release Date, Time, Recap & Streaming Guide

The Ark Episode 6 release date is what fans are hoping to know more of after The Ark Episode 5 gave us a huge cliffhanger at the end on 1 March 2023. The series throws light on a science and fiction drama series that is made in the United States. Dean Devlin, as well as Jonathan Glassner, has created the show for Syfy. It has only recently started airing on the channel and giving us the chills right now.

In the lead, we see actress Christie Burke reprising the role of Lt. Sharon Garnet. The setting of the plot is an Interstellar spacecraft, and the timeline is right after a huge disaster has fallen upon them. She is assumed to be the captain of this ship after the real one is gone and the tragedy has already happened.

We see the series set in almost a century after the one in which we are living right now. The characters are all plotted inside a spacecraft known as Ark One. A huge loss of life has happened here because they have lost their orbit, and the ship is now going to reach their destination almost a year late because of the same.

Although, the food and water available in limited and which means that the people will just have to unite together with proper management in order to make the amenities last longer. Every passenger and crew now has only one mission on their mind, to stay on the course and get through with the mission and come out of it alive.

The Ark Episode 5 Recap – One Step Forward, Two Steps Back

Back in The Ark Episode 5, titled One Step Forward, Two Steps Back, we saw that the crew and the passengers were trying to handle two problems at a time. A murderer is obviously on the loose here, but they also have bigger problems, such as a radiation leak. This causes a threat to the lives of hundreds of people who are aboard.

As for the murder investigation, we see that everything is playing out in a weird way. We saw that Felix was clearing everyone off the list. But Eva does not agree with the tactic and is ready to kill right about anyone. The radiation leak is no joke either, as it has already killed a few passengers now. The third storyline which was dominant in this episode was seeing Angus and Alicia together.

Garnett has given them a new mission to carry out. They are required to inspect the new element and figure out a way to make it work in their favor. We did not get to see much of it in this episode because of the bugger issues, but that doesn’t mean it was any less important though. While they were at it, we saw the fun of coming up with the idea of a warning system with the element.

This system will help the crew members to identify any issue on Ark One before it causes any harm. This way, it can be dealt with in a much better way. Just like this, the radiation issue was soon discovered. Eva was again in the middle of it all, trying to manage the passengers and also deal with the problem fixing it for everyone. I think things were going great until that one explosion where the whole face of a person blew out.
